she texted me recently to let me know that she was nominated outstanding alumna of their school. she was a graduate of adamson university. a few days ago, i received word that she made it. she is recognized as one of adamson's outstanding alumni!!! i featured her in one of my blogs some time ago as one of two peasant leaders who helped me keep my faith in the filipino. she was one of the health workers i trained in a small barrio in tayabas, quezon, many years ago. she was the only college graduate in the group of health workers i trained. she is now a social development worker organizing farmers and actively advocating for genuine agrarian reform.
